Tyler Ennis scores twirling, falling goal vs. Flyers (Video)

It was Danny (Daniel?) Briere Night for the Philadelphia Flyers against the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night.

Naturally, a diminutive forward scored a fantastic goal.

At 6:36 of the first period, Sabres winger Tyler Ennis took the puck in back of the Flyers’ net. He lost the puck but it was recovered by Ryan O’Reilly, who sent it back to Ennis.

The Buffalo forward spun away from Claude Giroux to the front of the net, and then sent a falling backhander past goalie Steve Mason for the goal.

Mason then searched around the crease like a homeowner looking for a cold breeze in an insolated room.

Maybe not the “Play of The Year” goal that Ennis had in 2014-15, but still a heck of a tally.
